We are looking for Pipr Fitters who are 3rd party certified locally/internationally to work on a six month-project in Sengerema, Mwanza region.
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret piping drawings, isometric drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Measure, cut, thread, bend, and prepare pipes according to project requirements.
- Assemble, fit, and install pipes, valves, fittings, supports, and related equipment.
- Install and align piping systems to ensure proper operation and compliance with specifications.
- Perform maintenance, repair, and replacement of damaged or defective piping systems.
- Conduct inspections and identify faults, leaks, and defects in piping systems.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments safely and correctly.
- Work closely with welders, fitters, and other trades during fabrication and installation activities.
- Ensure all piping work meets quality standards and project specifications.
- Follow approved procedures, drawings, and work instructions during installation and maintenance activities.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and safe condition.
- Comply with all company policies, safety regulations, permit-towork systems, and site procedures.
- Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Report hazards, defects, incidents, and unsafe conditions to the Supervisor
- Participate in toolbox talks, safety meetings, and training sessions.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Supervisor or Management.
Minimum
Qualifications:
- 3rd party certified
- At least 3 year experience
