Kazinikwetu Limited on behalf of the client is looking for Operations Manager - Sales & Marketing who will be responsible to run a marketing agency, with specific
focus on building a solid team of staff and improving customer
experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Build a world class sales Team
- Lead and develop the advertiser and publisher sales teams to close deals with top tier advertisers and publishers. Establish goals, KPIs and drive aggressive revenue targets
- Lead from the front - motivate and inspire the sales team
- Recruit, develop and retain exceptional Account Executives and other staff, creating a “deep bench”
- Provide customer insight to product development teams for new features, functionality and enhancements
Deliver our story to the marketplace
- Manage the marketing team to deliver a consistent sales message that demonstrates understanding of the market, customers’ business goals and answers potential objections
- Implement sales operations and processes
- Monitor day-to-day sales operations / pipeline.
Ideal Candidate:
- A highly strategic, top-down thinker - who uses bottom-up data & insights
- Minimum 10 years as a top performer in B2B, enterprise sales, managing and developing teams
- Demonstrable track record of managing sales teams who have consistently achieved / exceeded targets through significant revenue growth
- Execution Oriented

- Experience attracting, hiring, retaining, and mentoring high-performing teams and individuals
- Proven ability to set clear and deliverable goals – demonstrates tenacity, commitment to deliver and be accountable for results
Subject Matter Expert
- Understands advertiser, and publisher landscape in performance advertising as well as reporting relationships in these organizations
- Expertise in who are key players in media landscape, buying trends, and micro and macro level forces that shape budget allocation and client business initiatives
- Possess a well-established network and seen as a respected industry expert
