EWP OPERATOR

• Operate boom lifts safely and efficiently in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and company procedures.
• Conduct daily pre-operational inspections and safety checks before using the equipment. 
• Ensure the boom lift is used only on suitable ground conditions and within its operating limits. 
• Inspect work areas for hazards such as overhead power lines, uneven surfaces, and obstructions before commencing work. 
• Position and operate the boom lift to provide safe access for work at height. 
• Ensure all occupants use appropriate fall protection equipment while working from the platform.
• Monitor weather conditions and stop operations during unsafe weather conditions. 
• Report equipment defects, damages, or maintenance requirements immediately to the Supervisor.
• Follow permit-to-work requirements and site safety procedures for working at height. 
• Maintain the boom lift in a clean and serviceable condition. 
• Keep accurate records of inspections and equipment usage as required. 
• Maintain good housekeeping in work areas. 
• Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times. 
• Participate in toolbox talks, safety meetings, and training sessions. 
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Supervisor or Management

Qualifications

•  3rdParty Certified
• Concrete working experience in similar industry
