Kazinikwetu Limited on behalf of Client is looking for IT specialist to work in the for a marketing agency and to be based in Dar es Salaam. IT specialist will be responsible website development and updates.
Responsibilities
- Install hardware and configure laptops, desktops, monitors and printers
- Install and configure Windows, and Linux operating systems
- Install and configure MS Office, ERPs and 3rd party applications
- Provide technical support for diagnosing, troubleshooting and fixing hardware, software, operating systems problems
- Configure and manage operation of PABX/IP Telephony systems
- Provide technical support for diagnosing, troubleshooting and fixing network and telephony problems
- Install and configure Windows Servers, Active Directory and Backup Servers
- Continuously monitor the health status of IT systems and services to ensure compliance with the latest security updates
- Manage employee access rights, accounts and passwords on the computers and peripherals Similarly, setup new user’s accounts and profiles on various systems
- Provide technical support for diagnosing, troubleshooting and fixing physical and software access problems.
- Manage the data backup.
- Create documents for IT policies, processes, procedures and training
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Computer Science or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of experience with IT support to the end users.
- Industry certifications, this can include A+, N+ and/or MCP/MCSA/MCSE/MCITP
- Certified in Microsoft Server or Desktop such as MCITP, MCSE, MCTS, MTA or MCSA
- Certified in Cisco Networks such as CCNA.
- Certified in Information Security such as Security+.
- Moderate Knowledge and experience in Fortinet or Juniper Firewalls.
- Excellent knowledge and experience in either of Cisco, HP or Huawei Routers, Switches and Wireless Access Points
- Excellent Knowledge and experience in Anti-Virus solutions such as Trend Micro, Kaspersky etc.
- Moderate knowledge and experience in Email security solutions such as Symantec or Cisco.
- Excellent knowledge and experience in Office 365 / MS Office (Office 365, 2016, 2013) Outlook and Excel
- Moderate knowledge and experience in Mac iOS and Linux
- Moderate knowledge and experience in HRMS, Accounting and CRM software
- Moderate Knowledge and experience in configuration of Windows Servers (2012, 2016), Hyper-V, Active Directory, Group Policies, Domain Controllers, WSUS, File and Print Servers
- Moderate knowledge and experience in either of Lenovo, HP or Dell server configuration, Backup Jobs, Disk to disk Backup, Site to site backup
- Moderate knowledge and experience in either of Avaya or Cisco PBX/IP Telephony systems.
